Beware the wrath of jealous animals. Lowe Roche Toronto’s for the Toronto Zoo features ordinary animals retaliating over the amount of attention zoo animals receive. The spooky spots each end with www.jealousanimals.com where you’ll find more bitter banter from the over looked ordinary animals.

Whack is a sour lime carbonated slushy available only at Mac’s Convenience Stores in Canada. I worked with to promote the product launch & I finally got around to having a Whack. It was really good. Watch the TV/cinema campaign here and the . Caution: if you have a Whack too fast, you get a brain freeze.

Director Brian Lee Hughes is in Toronto shooting with Crispin Porter + Bogusky & he brought me Beauty Parlor Wisdom, the follow-up to . The book is filled with entertaining, inspiring and thought provoking quotes from stylists, manicurists, shampooers…you get the idea. Written by Risa Mickenberg,photography by Joanne Dugan, designed by Brian Lee Hughes and it’s cover is glossier than OPI Big Apple Red. Thanks BLH!

Toronto has just launched a viral campaign for Nestea, The site highlights the latest Nestea commercial and a game where you “plunge” for bottles of Nestea. Depending on how well you do in the game, different live action scenes come up at the end. That’s the best part, so be sure to play to the end.

DDB & Campaign magazine have joined forces to create a fun site full of Cannes updates and events as well as opportunities for shameless self promotion or blackmailing colleagues. The latter refers to the section where you can upload your own pics and add captions. I can see this getting totally out of control, in a good way.

Yesterday I had a little rendezvous with the King. He was in Toronto shooting his latest commercial with and took a few moments off for a quick cannoodle. And for those of you who don’t know, the King is quite the lady’s man. I’ll refrain from making a Whopper joke.

Toronto-based design/motion graphics company Crush has added Yoho Yue to its design roster. Yue was previously a senior designer at Canadian kids’ channel YTV, and prior to that, ran his own ad agency in Guangzhou, China. Watch his YTV reel .
