To celebrate the 175th anniversary of Toronto’s historic Distillery District, Fido (a Canadian wireless provider) and Bos Toronto have launched The Fido Spot. Set within a courtyard in the Distillery District, Fido has donated a giant outdoor projection screen, which is now available to artists, musicians and filmmakers to showcase their work. In addition, Bos Toronto created the Fido Pin Art installation which will be on location in the Distillery District for the next two years for the general public to interact and have fun with (and there was lots of that going on at last night’s launch party). Bos creatives are Ibraheem Youssef and Mwewa Frederick Nduna. See full credits here.
