New MGMT Video

Not sure what to think about this but I kinda feel like it’s 4:23 of my life that I’ll never get back. Watch it. It gets weirder & weirder. Way too much for first thing in the AM. Oh and for me, ventriloquists and eels are right up there with mimes and monkeys on the creep me out scale. Ewe.

Hummm… Condoms or Balloons?

Hummm... Condoms or Balloons?

So apparently these are balloons in this Brazilian ad for a children’s toothpaste. But like so many others on Ads of the World, I see condoms. Which makes for some pretty comical confusion – condoms, children, children’s hand with pin popping condoms…

Hugh Jackman Dancing for Ice Tea

Hugh Jackman Dancing for Ice Tea

Don’t tell any one, but I love a good dance scene. Might have something to do with the 10 years of ballet I took. I love this new spot for Lipton Ice Tea featuring Hugh Jackman (man he looks better in a suit than he does as Wolverine). Although I do have to say that it automatically reminded me of Christopher Walken getting down in Fatboy Slim’s Weapon of Choice. Thanks to Freddy for the tip & a shout out to Fubiz. On a side note, not sure what Hugh Jackman dancing has to do with ice tea, but it’s so good that I don’t care.

Bring on the Burn

Bring on the Burn

I was just saying the other day how tired I was of Doritos’ user generated videos. So when my friend, director Aleysa Young, sent me hers to checkout well, I have to say I was worried that I’d hate it. I actually didn’t click on the link for two days in fear of having to tell her I didn’t like it. Well, I’m pleased to report that I finally clicked, watched and I like it. In fact, I like it a lot. It’s kinda gross (in a super good way), well produced and I love the slo-mo reverse thing going on. Congrats Aleysa. Well done and sorry I doubted you (shame on me). Watch it & pass it on. Ms. Young is with Partners Film for Canadian commercial film representation.
