Bunnies are the New Clowns

I’ve been meaning to post this for a while as I love scary bunnies – and just plain ol’ cute bunnies for that matter. Massive Attack’s “Atlas Air” directed by Edouard Salier and produced by Black Dog Films and Digital District. Found via Stash.

The Meatloaf Bakey

The Meatloaf Bakey

Two reasons why this is amazing; 1. I’m a savory fan not a sweet fan. 2. I’ve always wanted to go to Chicago to see the architecture (dying to take the Frank Lloyd Wright tour). Chicago’s The Meatloaf Bakery has savory treats that look like cupcakes and cakes. Love. Yep, I’m booking a flight on Porter soonish. Via Stimulant.

Pistachios for MTV

Pistachios, repped by Blacklist in the USA, have made a series of playful and colourful idents for MTV Nordic starring circuit board characters and the fantastical world in which they live. View all six. When asked why circuit boards, Pistachios’ Måns Swanberg said, “I recently came up with a clever way of drawing circuit boards, so I thought I’d turn them into figures. The world they live in, on the other hand, is entirely non-technological, it’s more like a surreal, quiet Eden.” Credits and stills.

Zombies Take Over Sears

I love zombies. They make me laugh. I watched Shawn of the Dead last night for the 5th or 6th time. Yep. LOVE LOVE LOVE zombies. You getting that I love zombies?

In honor of Halloween, Sears has zombified their site. Fantastic. I’ve also posted a selection of images from the site here. There’s also a few zombie vids on the site & on YouTube. Scooped from Creativity.

Phoenix Tonight

Phoenix Tonight

I’m excited to be seeing Phoenix tonight in Toronto. The last time I saw them was in September 2006 when they played a small Toronto club (Mod Club) to a small invite only group (thanks to Sean Claessen for getting me on that list). I snapped some pics that night, right in front of the stage, with an old Nokia phone (this was pre-iPhone). Swoon…love those Parisian rockers.

Moleskine, Stop-Motion & Pac-Man (Yay!)

Moleskin is celebrating the 30th anniversary of Pac-Man with this cute stop-motion promotional film and a limited edition series of notebooks.
The books come in both hard and soft cover, full size & mini, and feature celebrative packaging and pixilated cover imagery that includes Pac-Man, ghost characters, fruit imagery and classical video game lines such as “Game Over”, “Insert Coin”, and “High Score.” And they come with stickers. Ya, I want one. I hope they’ll celebrate the anniversary of Frogger too (kidding – kinda).
