Urban Snowboarding

Posted January 4, 2013 No Comments

This is so Canadian.

On Thursday, December 27th eastern Canada got hit by snow. Montreal received the most with 45 centimetres (17.7 inches) – setting a record for the highest snowfall in a 24-hour period.

Canadians are known for being resilient bunch, and Seb Toots, aka Sebastien Toutant, a competitive snowboarder, decided to take advantage of the fresh powder on the slope of Mount Royal, in a park just next to the city’s downtown core.

Sunset Films captured the two-day adventure in the video above, complete with obligatory soundtrack from The xx. I see Red Bull in the credits. I’m guessing they paid for this.
