The 5th film in the Adicolor series is a brief history of the color red by Roman Coppola & Andy Bruntel. It's so much fun to watch---with time travel and a rock n' roll lobster in the mix, how could it not be. It also illustrates the creation of the best logo design in the history in the world, the Japanese Flag. There are just two films remaining in the series by directors Neill Blomkamp & Saiman Chow.

This is the the Monster Box Project by Chicago graffiti artist TEWZ ONE and IKIL. It took them over a month to create and release these modified plastic publication boxes which were placed at key locations throughout Chicago last Thursday night. Some were instantly monster-napped but the word is many still remain.

My first impression of this product, a cola-coffee hybrid, is "ew". If I want a caffeine fix I usually crave a coffee or a cola, not both at once & not in the same glass. Coca-Cola Blak is just that, but described more eloquently as "Coke effervescence with coffee essence" on the product website. Speaking of the latter, is it just me or is the music and the VO on the site a little...um...cheesy?

I have loved Nagi Noda since the first time I saw her A Cup of Love spot for retailer Franc Franc. This is her first non-Japanese spot, via Mother London,  and it has been was well worth the wait. For more infomation on Nagi Noda & this spot, read this article on Shots.

Director Yael Staav has a wonderful way of making the simplest of things beautiful -- almost melodic. A prime example is one of her latest spots, Tubs, for Clorox out of DDB San Francisco. Who knew bathtub cleaner could be so dreamy.

I've begun to look forward to Wednesday for I know a new ADICOLOR film will be released. This week it's Blue directed by Psyop. It’s fast & funky with amazing music by Q Department. I always liked blue, don't you?

I bookmarked this site a while back & finally had the time to give it the attention it deserves. Great photography by Peter Funch. Las Vegas & Red Rush are my favourite sections.

I found this on adverblog. It's a great viral campaign by Virgin Atlantic featuring Yutaka, a fictional Japanese programmer, showcasing London via a fantastic website. It's beautuiful, interactive and informative all at once.

This is the third in the ADICOLOR series. It's Pink directed by Charlie White. I have to say it's my favorite so far, and not just because it's pink and matches my branding.

The Hired Goons make great music for commercials. I liked their tune for the Adidas Climacool Shoe so much I made it my ringtone. This summer they are releasing their first album  Songs You Can Sell Out To, featuring some of the best of New York's independent and underground music community.

I loved March of the Penguins and that makes this spoof all the more enjoyable. There are two in the campaign, a musical version of The Thin Blue Line is the the second. New from McKinney Silver, Durham and Director Kevin Donovan.

This past weekend I spent some quailty time with my television and I'm happy I did for I caught a number of the spots in the Life Lessons Collection campaign on The Learning Channel. View them all on the TLC website.

You can never really go wrong with Zombies. Especially the hot model-type ones in this Naked Ape's Fashion Freak video.

When will the celebrity fragrance trend end? Mariah Carey has signed a deal with Elizabeth Arden to create and promote her own fragrance line to be launched in  Spring 2007. Somehow I doubt the fragrance will be called Glitter.

Christopher Hutsul is a Toronto-based writer and artist. I'm a big fan of his drawings, especially the mutant monster people. Scary and lovable all at once.

This is too weird. Apparently making fake eggs is a big business in China. You can even take a course on how to make them, so this article says. It leaves me wondering if it's true. Have a peak and decide for yourself.

This second film in the ADICOLOR series of seven is Green, directed by Happy. The ADICOLOR is a reissue of a series of shoes originally released in 1983. Pure white, the shoes came in a series of models, high and low top, complete with a set of marker pens to cash in on the craze for customization. It's hard to tell from this picture but this entire death row cell is made of beads. It's the Liza Lou exhibition at the White Cube gallery in London. Each bead is applied with tweezers, and different colours and textures of beads created the breathtaking details  down to the water marks and stains. Amazing.

This is the first of seven virals for ADICOLOR customizable sneakers from Adidas. It took everything in my power not to use the word "whacked" or "whacker" when writing this. Opps, I did.

Yes, we like hockey. This is not breaking news but these two spots directed by UNTITLED's Hubert Davis for DDB Canada are worth a peak.
