| Fudgems Looks A Bit Like Poo |
| |
I like the direction the Domino's Pizza commercials are taking. The "Fudgems" brownie character is pretty funny. I find it entertaining because the chocolate goo he leaves behind looks like poo. It's base, I know, but I do find it funny. But the website, on the other hand, is a little crappy (pun intended).

I found this site on Stash magazine's blog Feed. Nice site and some interesting work including this music video for Matthew Herbert, graphics for Nike, and the art direction for Rojo magazine -- where there is some great content. I bookmarked it. Enjoy.

The Three Legged Legs are a Santa Monica-based directing collective AKA Greg Gunn, Casey Hunt and Reza Rasoli -- and I love their work. They are repped in the US via Green Dot Films, in the UK by Rokkit, in Canada by Suneeva & in France via Wanda. Check out their personal site here.

| Hello From Alberta |
| |
I'm still in Alberta. Here is a picture of what once was my great uncle Sam's garage in Hairy Hill, Alberta. Yes, there is a town called Hairy Hill. The story is that the bison used to go there & literally shed their hair on the town's hill, hence Hairy Hill. I'm back in Toronto on Thursday.

This spot answers the age old question: is cotton candy a protein or a carb? Hilarious. Oh, bit of trivia here, there is less fat in cotton candy than there is in an ice cream cone. In case you were wondering.

I want this phone for a number of reasons; it's not out in Canada yet, its specs are amazing, I love Nokia phones & Graydon Sheppard made four really cool commercials for them. The latest two are here, the previously released two are here. Watch Graydon's showreel here. BTW Graydon was nominated for Best International New Director at last week's Shark Awards.

| Why do traditional advertising when you can build a spa? |
| |
As mentioned on Thursday, here is more on Toronto's Evian Spa. Sharpe Blackmore's creation of the spa was "simply a non-traditional creative idea that helped solve the client’s business challenges." -- Meaning, why do a print campaign if you can build a spa? See the creation/construction video here & video of the launch pary here.

| Sharpe Blackmore Launches Evian Spa |
| |
I went to the launch of the Evian Spa in Toronto last night, conceived & created by Sharpe Blackmore Euro RSCG. The spa opened on the eve of the Toronto International Film Festival & will only be operating until September 30th. Not only is it a spa, but it is also an interactive exhibit on the history of Evian -- guerrilla mixed with rejuvenation, so to speak. More pictures here.
