I saw a tribute to this amazing old school animation on The Family Guy tonight. So I wondered if I could find the original online. One quick search on You Tube & voila. Enjoy a blast from the past. 

I love the direction JWT NY is going with Domino's Pizza. First there was Fudgems & now this great campaign directed by The Perlorian Brothers via Biscuit/Reginald Pike. Some trivia - the Nana in "Nana" was one of the original cast members of The Little Rascals. Cool.

I just got back to Toronto from the Boards Summit. I have to say it was a wonderful experience. The Boards crew puts on one top notch production. If you've never been, I highly recommend it.

I'm in New York for the Boards Summit until Thursday. One of the items on the agenda today is In the Directors Chair, where some of the industry's top and emerging directors will discuss the current state of international commercial production. One of the panelists is Matt Lenski, who did these hilarious BK spots via Reginald Pike.

On it you can send Purr & Woof mail, test your pet IQ & upload pictures of your own pet to the site. I'm sure it'll proved hours of entertainment for those who love their four-legged friends.

Stella Artois has unveiled The Trap at the corner of Bloor & Avenue in Toronto. The installation, which will "tour" other major international cities, is 5 meters high & weighs more than 2 tons. In the middle of The Trap sits a pint of Stella. The camapign includes an online game, "Le Defi" & some cool coasters. Designed by Lowe Roche Toronto & Jack Morton. PartyPoker.com has just launched in the UK & Europe with this four-spot campaign directed by Tim Brown of Therapy Films. I like the One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest feel of "Mental Asylum", but "Circus" is my favourite -- I've always liked the circus. Watch all four spots here. 

Despite their use of the word "sexy" on this site, I can see it getting a ton of traffic. I found it via a paid advertisement on AdRants. Thoughts?

Wednesday night at NYC's The Canal Room director/designer/artist Owen Plotkin screened one of his films on seven naked women. Plotkin described the project as "an outrageously baroque undergarde film created explicitly for mary jordan's naked performance". More here. Enjoy. Thanks Owen!

Toronto's ACLC created a great three poster campaign for Paramount Canada’s Wonderland FearFest which are currently on the TTC (Toronto's subway). Last night CTV did a ridiculously long story on how the ads are in bad taste. Hilarious. Watch the story here. Download the three print ads here.

Directorial duo Happy created these three gory yet thought provoking spots for Canada's Workplace Safety and Insurance Board -- Shopgirl, Factory & Funeral. And speaking of Happy, for those of us not lucky enough to attend Happy Hour, here are some pics of the event.

Stash magazine's issue 25 came out today. Included in this issue are the Student Animation Award Winners the Three Legged Legs & their HUMANS! spot as well as Crush's Butterfly spot for Vespa. The latter got the best break in the music in the issue trailer.
