Born on Vancouver Island, grew up in Nova Scotia and have lived in Ottawa, Toronto and the United Kingdom.
Graduated with a Bachelor of Journalism from Carleton University, Ottawa.
Briefly attended Ryerson Theatre School, Toronto.
Worked for CHUM television for seven years doing everything from marketing to producing. Was an on-air presenter, known as Shameless Shannon, for four years.
Lived in London UK for two years and worked for the the now defunct Moving Pictures magazine for the 2003 Cannes Film Festival and for Shots magazine.
Relocated back to Canada in 2004, briefly worked as a production coordinator before becoming the publicist and head of marketing for Reginald Pike and UNTITLED.
