Marco Tramonte is a veteran of the ad tech space, most recently a global campaign analyst with Red Bull.

Building off the momentum of a series of new business wins, Juliet has made numerous hires over the last few months, including a former member of Red Bull Austria’s in-house marketing team as its new head of performance media.

Marco Tramonte is a veteran of the ad tech space, with expertise spanning ad ops, programmatic platforms, and data management. He has spent his career helping marketers use data to better execute their digital media strategies and implement transparent buying programs.

In addition to spending years in Europe as a global campaign analyst with Red Bull, Tramonte has also worked with major brands including Rogers Media and CIBC. His knowledge of the cannabis industry has also led to work with licensed producers across Canada, helping them develop media solutions within a highly regulated and digitally dependent marketing sector.

Juliet will combine its performance media expertise and buying capabilities with strategy and creative to create what Tramonte describes as a big-picture “mosaic” in which each disparate element works in tandem with the others to provide a more holistic—and highly relevant—marketing approach.

Performance media is celebrated for its ability to allow brands to track and precisely measure how their campaigns are influencing behaviour and even sales. Its growth has come as digital media becomes more pervasive.

“I’m excited to join Juliet because for them performance media isn’t its own island,” says Tramonte. “We’re able to bring strategy, media and creative into a mosaic, creating a bigger picture and completing the marketing funnel. Each individual piece is fully transparent and works in unison with the others to create more efficiency for our clients.”

Juliet has grown to more than 50 people since its 2017 formation. Its recent client wins include Milestones, Harry Rosen, The Bentway, Lawtons, Open Farm and Mark Anthony. The agency is looking to employ its performance media strategy to both existing clients and new clients who are seeking “full funnel” campaigns or looking for help in setting up, or expanding, their existing performance marketing capabilities.
