Last year, Broken Heart Love Affair (BHLA), alongside Miami Ad School Toronto, launched the first-ever Miles Philip Hammond Scholarship in honour of BHLA founder Bev Hammond’s great nephew, Miles (read more).
Ben LeDrew and Qudsiya Jabeen were selected as the recipients of the scholarship based on their creative passion and stories of hardship, and they are in the process of completing M.AD’s two-year program.
Last spring, they came to BHLA office to share their stories and talk about their experience. Ben and Qudsiya are now doing placements at various agencies in the city and they graduate this winter.
In addition to the program and their placements, Ben and Qudsiya have been working with the teams at Lifelong Crush and BHLA to create the 2024 scholarship campaign which launched today. They conceived the idea, developed the creative look and feel, struck a pose in our alleyway, and worked with the team to roll-out the assets.
The campaign is running on OOH boards near campuses and in social / digital encouraging aspiring ad kids to APPLY NOW.
