Koodo Stacks on the Happiness with New ‘Happy Stack’ Bundle

New integrated campaign from Camp Jefferson spotlights the company’s new offering as part of the on-going ‘Choose Happy’ brand platform

Koodo is bringing a whole lotta happy with its new mobile, internet, and streaming content bundle, the “Happy Stack”. For the first time ever, Koodo customers in Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec can now enjoy the convenience of stacking all three services at incredible monthly cost savings.

Following a successful pilot program in the Fall of 2023, Koodo Internet is now available to more than seven million homes across Ontario, Quebec and Manitoba, offering more Canadians access to unlimited home internet with no throttling or data overage charges.

The “Happy Stack” launch is being supported by a joyful marketing campaign from Camp Jefferson under the company’s longstanding “Choose Happy” brand platform. With a return to the platform’s roots, the campaign pops with bright colours and a sense of fun. It’s a journey back to the heart of what makes this platform special – its unwavering commitment to spreading joy.

While the creative highlights key attributes like the Happy Stack’s affordability and reliability, it also expresses the joyful and optimistic tone that is one of the hallmarks of the Koodo brand.

It is led by a pair of 15-second spots that show their environments being transformed from drab to delightful by switching to Koodo. A city bus is transformed into a plush disco on wheels, while a mundane hallway in an apartment building becomes a colourful passageway to happy.

“Happiness feels like it’s in short supply these days, but Koodo’s ‘Choose Happy’ platform is as much about the offering as it is about joy you feel when you get what you need,” says Julie Nikolic, SVP, Director of Creative at Camp Jefferson. “We want to bring back the fun at every Touchpoint.”

The video assets are being accompanied by a series of high-profile OOH elements, including a colourful takeover of the large-format digital screens at Toronto’s Union Station.

“Happy Stack is the answer to today’s unpredictable economic climate,” said Dwayne Benefield, Chief Product Officer at TELUS. “It combines reliable mobile service, dependable high-speed internet, and the best streaming entertainment at a value Canadians can’t find anywhere else. Our value-minded customers want to invest wisely in a practical, comprehensive connectivity and entertainment package, without sacrificing top-tier quality and we’re proud to deliver that only at Koodo.”

The “Happy Stack” is the perfect solution for this difficult economic climate, with bundle prices starting at $99 per month for affordable mobility rate plans, fast and reliable unlimited high-speed home internet, and the new Stream+ featuring Canada’s most popular streaming services, Netflix, Disney+, and Amazon Prime.
