Glossy partnered with Broken Heart Love Affair to obtain ad trade media coverage on its newest campaign for Toronto’s Royal Ontario Museum (ROM). The previous (2022) Immortal campaign for the ROM focused on history through a human lens; this follow-up campaign shifts the narrative to the natural world and shows the Earth’s history through the eyes of an opera-singing chimpanzee.
The three-minute ” Opera ” spot reimagines the connection between humans and nature, encouraging viewers to reconsider humanity’s place within Earth’s vast timeline and offering a fresh look at the museum’s permanent collection. Read the press release.
The campaign was well-received by ad trade publications and was an Editor’s Pick on AdAge, Ad of the Day on The Drum, Ad of the Week on Muse by Clios, Top Spot of the Week on Shoot, and it was also featured by Adweek, shots, Campaign, Strategy, and Stash.
