Toronto-based Rooster Post is pleased to announce that Alanna Homuth has joined the studio as producer.
Homuth began her career in post production seven years ago when she joined Alter Ego, where she assisted post artists Eric Whipp, Wade Odlum, Conor Fisher and Tricia Hagoriles. During this time, she developed a love for colour and all of its intricacies, and began working toward becoming a producer.
As her producing career took flight, she sought out new opportunities to learn about online/vfx and began producing both colour and online for work on Tim Horton’s, Shoppers Drug Mart, The Keg, Loblaws and more.
“Alanna’s leadership skills, natural affinity for people, and collaborative approach are a great asset for Rooster,” says Melissa Kahn, partner and executive producer, Rooster Post. “We’re excited to have her join the team and work with our editors to meet the needs of our clients.”
Alanna is now thrilled to bring this collective experience and understanding of all aspects of commercial production to Rooster Post, where she will continue to develop her post production expertise.
“This is a great opportunity for me to continue learning and expanding the breadth of my experience,” says Homuth. “My technical background is going to be so helpful in my new role as I have a first-hand understanding of how the artists and assistants work. I couldn’t be happier to be joining such a stellar team.”
