The Humanise Collective expands its creative offering with the addition of The Garden

The Humanise Collective welcomes The Garden, one of Canada’s top independent brand strategy and creative agencies, into its group of entrepreneur-led firms. Helmed by Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer, Shari Walczak and Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer, Shane Ogilvie, The Garden arrives with a wealth of industry experience. This union contributes to the Humanise Collective’s overall reach and strengthens its commitment to creative excellence and innovation in Canada.

“The arrival of The Garden at Humanise opens up new perspectives for the collective’s clients. Under the leadership of two recognized experts in their fields, with deep roots in our industry in Toronto, clients get access to a greater range of specialized services and in-depth brand strategy and creative expertise,” says Sébastien Fauré, Co-Founder and Senior Partner at the Humanise Collective and Bleublancrouge CEO.

“There is a burgeoning independent agency scene in Canada, producing some of the smartest, most compelling work for clients and The Garden has been proud to count ourselves amongst this esteemed group,” says Walczak. “As entrepreneurs, we are always looking to new ways to enhance our overall offering while maintaining our independence, and The Humanise Collective offered us that unique opportunity.”

With the addition of The Garden, the Collective now includes eight independent, locally-owned agencies with expertise that spans marketing advisory services, integrated media planning and buying, data & analytics, brand strategy, experience design and breakthrough French and English language creative. Each agency operates independently, yet often partners to develop smarter solutions to the new challenges clients are facing in industries from financial services and tech to CPG, retail, hospitality and real estate sectors.

“While we’ve been approached by different organizations over the years, we felt an instant connection with the leaders of Humanise,” says Ogilvie. “Not only in their holding company structure that propels entrepreneurial-minded leaders to create value and facilitate transformational change for ambitious clients, but also in their people-first approach that strives to be a force for good in our industry and beyond.”
