For World Down Syndrome Day 2024, the Canadian Down Syndrome Society (CDSS) and CoorDown partnered with global Down syndrome organizations to launch “Assume That I Can,” an international campaign focused on ending stereotypes about individuals with Down syndrome. In the campaign film, Assume That I Can, the protagonist, portrayed by Toronto native Madison Tevlin, challenges the low expectations placed on her and advocates for a shift in perspective.
Glossy partnered with the organizations to obtain Canadian news coverage on the campaign. Here’s some of the coverage we obtained: National Post, CBC News, CP24, Breakfast Television, CityNews, Montreal Gazette, Yahoo! Style, Winnipeg Sun, Real Talk and NTV.
