Buoyed by new client wins, and with plans to further establish its U.S. remits, Toronto agency Juliet has named Leanne Goldstein to the newly created position of head of client engagement.
Goldstein joins Juliet from Taxi, where she was most recently group account director. Her career has also included stops at Cossette and Juniper Park, working with several prominent brands including Frito-Lay U.S., PepsiCo, Kraft-Heinz, Virgin Mobile and Canadian Tire.
Juliet co-founder Ryan Spelliscy says that Goldstein’s skillset is perfectly aligned with the agency’s mandate to deliver “unorthodox, culturally relevant moments and ideas” that are bigger than advertisements.
“She’s not afraid to dive into the weeds and help make stuff, and she’s not afraid to take a leap and try to build something,” he says. “We have a myriad of challenges coming through our door every day, so yes, we needed someone. But if it wasn’t Leanne, we would probably have waited.”
Spelliscy says that Goldstein’s prior experience in production with Juniper Park was also a key factor in her hire. “She’s really here to help us grow this place in Canada and abroad,” he says.
Goldstein will work with the agency’s partners to manage growth and continually push to uncover unconventional tactics for clients.
Juliet has continued to grow since being launched by Spelliscy, Sarah Stringer and Denise Cole late last year. It recently added FreshCo, Wholly Veggie, and Hiku, which includes Tokyo Smoke, Doja, and Van der Pop, to its roster of clients. Juliet also works with Coca-Cola Ltd., Lyft, Signet Jewelers, WE and On the Run.
