Pound & Grain Makes Senior Toronto Hire
Managing director Tyler Lockyer will oversee the office’s daily leadership, key accounts and business development.
Digital creative agency Pound & Grain has added to its senior leadership team in Toronto, appointing Tyler Lockyer as managing director.
The new hire reflects the four-year-old office’s continued growth, as well as increased market demand for its expertise in developing digitally-led campaigns, social media strategy and content creation.
Lockyer will partner with creative director Scott Lew to provide day-to-day leadership of the Toronto office, as well as oversight of key accounts including REMAX Integra, TELUS, Fountain Tire, Viacom and E&J Gallo. His purview will also include business development.
Tyler will report into Jackson Murphy, who will continue to provide Pound & Grain’s national leadership alongside business partners Graham MacInnes, Sandy Fleischer, and Tara Steinberg.
“We are fortunate to have Tyler and his unending enthusiasm for this business and the power of digital,” says Murphy. “The experience, ideas and counsel he can offer our clients when it comes to strategy, media and digital is unmatched.”
Lockyer has spent the past 15 years working at the forefront of digital transformation, with roles in both operations and business consulting at agencies including Critical Mass, BBDO, Cheil, FIRE and GTB. He has worked with brands including Ford, Hyundai, Samsung, Mars, Pepsi and Mitsubishi.
“I am thrilled to be joining Pound & Grain,” says Lockyer. “From its client roster and the scope of its work, to the people, passion and power of great thinking, all wrapped around a truly independent spirt, it is unstoppable.”
